The Roman Catholic chapel is located in Wagsberg , a district of Kronburg in the Unterallgäu district in Bavaria . The chapel is a listed building.

Building description

The chapel is a small building with a gable roof and a rectangular nave from the 18th century. The roof of the chapel is hipped on the east side. Inside there is a flat ceiling . A round window is inserted on both sides of the small nave. An arched entrance is on the west side.

Interior

In the altar niche there is a wooden figure of a standing Virgin from the late 18th century. The wooden figure of Christ in the dungeon comes from the second half of the 18th century. This is located in a small wall niche on the north side and is closed off by a wooden grille. The stalls are made of spruce and date from the second half of the 18th century. The cheeks of the stalls are curved. Two wooden figures, both from the 18th century, are placed in the chapel. These represent St. Sebastian and St. Peter of Alcantara .
