The Karelia Tobacco Company ( Greek Καπνοβιομηχανία Καρέλια ) is the oldest tobacco factory in Greece . It was founded as a family business in Kalamata on the Peloponnese peninsula in 1888 by the two brothers George and Stathis Karelias and is now managed by Victoria Karelia. The shares are traded on the Athens Stock Exchange.

Today Karelia Tobacco is the country's leading tobacco company. The cigarettes in the typical, mostly square hinged box, are exported to 65 countries. The total of 481 employees produced around 15 billion cigarettes in 2014 on an ultra-modern production line. The company is considered one of the most popular employers in the country.
