Karim Miské (born 1964 in Abidjan , Ivory Coast ) is a French journalist, documentary filmmaker and author.

Life

Karim Miské's father is a Mauritanian diplomat and his mother is French. He grew up in France, where he works as a journalist and documentary filmmaker for ARTE .

In 2012 he received the Grand prix de littérature policière for his novel Arab jazz . The title is due to his admiration for the American crime writer James Ellroy ( White jazz ).
