Karin Doppelbauer (born March 2, 1975 in Grieskirchen ) is an Austrian manager, organic farmer and politician ( NEOS ). Doppelbauer has been a member of the Austrian National Council since April 4, 2017 .

Life

Karin Doppelbauer was born on March 2, 1975 in Grieskirchen, Upper Austria. She attended elementary school in Kallham and secondary school in Neumarkt im Hausruckkreis as well as the upper level secondary school in Grieskirchen, where she finally graduated . In 2000 graduated Doppelbauer the Diploma in Agricultural Economics with the graduation from the graduate engineer, which they previously at universities in Vienna , Chicago and Vancouver had operated.

Karin Doppelbauer works as Director Operations EMEA in the management of the US computer manufacturer Dell Technologies . She is also a self-employed organic farmer and co-founder of NEOS. From 2012 to 2017 she was a deputy finance officer on the party's board of directors and as a finance officer on the board of the NEOS Lab party academy .

On April 4, 2017, after the withdrawal of NEOS MP Niko Alm from parliament on the NEOS federal list , she moved into the Austrian National Council. After the National Council election in 2017 , which took place only six months later , Doppelbauer was able to retain her mandate as the top candidate of NEOS in the Upper Austrian electoral district, as well as after the National Council election in 2019 .
