Karin Ehrich (* 1954 ) is a German historian and nonfiction - author .

Life

Karin Ehrich, born in 1954, attended Bielefeld University after graduating from school , where she studied English, history and education and in 1994 wrote her dissertation under the title Urban Teacher Training in Prussia. A study on development, structure and functions using the example of the teacher training college in Hanover 1856–1926 .

After working as a research assistant at the University of Bielefeld and the Leuphana University of Lüneburg , Karin Ehrich began her work as a freelance historian in the Lower Saxony capital of Hanover in 1997 .
