Karin Frick

Karin Frick (* 1961 ) is a Swiss trend and future researcher . At the Gottlieb Duttweiler Institute (GDI) in Rüschlikon , she is a member of the management and head of research and the “ think tank ”.

Life

Frick grew up in Liechtenstein and studied economics at the University of St. Gallen (HSG). Since then she has held various positions in the field of futurology and social change. She was the managing director of the Swiss Association for Future Research (swissfuture) or chief editor of the “GDI Impuls” of the Duttweiler Institute.

She has been analyzing trends and countertrends in the consumer goods and services sector for around fifteen years. This happens both on behalf of companies and in the area of ​​the institute's own research.

Frick has two sons and runs a marathon .
