Karin Lustgart

Karin Lustgart (born January 27,  1952 in Buttstädt ) is a former German basketball player .

Life

Lustgart played basketball for the GDR series champion KPV 69 Halle, with whom she won the championship title in the German Democratic Republic several times . With 160 appointments in the GDR selection, she was the country's record national player. Among other things, she took part in the European Championship in Bulgaria  in 1972 , where she scored 5.7 points per tournament. In 1982 and 1984 Lustgart was named GDR basketball player of the year.

In 1992 she was a founding member of the Association of Sports Schools Basketball Hall.
