Karin Renate Ahmann

Karin Renate Ahmann (born 1943 ) is a German lawyer and former judge at the Federal Finance Court .

Career

In 1971 she joined the Bavarian State Ministry of Finance and then worked in the Bavarian State Chancellery and at the tax office in Munich . In 1981 she became a judge at the Munich Finance Court and in November 1991 she became a judge at the Federal Finance Court. Until the end of 1999 she was a member of the First Senate, which deals with corporate income tax , conversion tax and external tax law. After that she sat in the XI. Senate, which was responsible for the income tax treatment of freelancers and traders and has been responsible for sales tax since the beginning of 2008 . In addition, she was for a long time the women's and gender equality officer of the Federal Finance Court. She retired at the end of November 2008.
