Karina Peisker (* 2000 ) is a German gymnast and three-time world champion in her sport.

Career

In 2015 the Freising qualified for a world championship for the first time. The then 15-year-old was unable to take advantage of a torn ligament . In 2016, Peisker qualified again for the World Championships in Cincinnati , Ohio and won a silver medal in the spiral discipline. The gymnastics gymnast reached the peak of her career at the 2018 World Championships in Magglingen , Switzerland. Here she won three gold medals (all around, spiral, jump) and a bronze medal (straight gymnastics) for Germany.

After graduating from high school in 2018, Peisker is currently studying medicine in Hamburg, according to the Süddeutsche Zeitung .

Her sister, who is two years younger than her, also does gymnastics and is trained by her.
