Karine Muijlwijk (born February 16, 1988 in Gouda ) is a Dutch volleyball player .

Career

Muijlwijk started her career in her hometown at Radius Gouda. She then played for VV Utrecht before going to VC Weert . In 2009, the diagonal attacker, who was also used in the Dutch national junior team, moved to Sliedrecht Sport . In 2011 she was signed by the German Bundesliga club VT Aurubis Hamburg . Due to an operation on the shoulder, however, she was out for the entire 2011/12 season. In the summer of 2012 she moved to league competitor Alemannia Aachen . From 2013 to 2015 she was under contract with 1. VC Wiesbaden . During this time, Muijlwijk also had eleven appearances in the Dutch national team . Then she returned to Aurubis Hamburg. After the sponsor's withdrawal in 2016, Muijlwijk played one more season in the second Bundesliga with VT Hamburg.
