Karl-Adolf Bauer

Karl-Adolf Bauer (born April 17, 1937 in Neunkirchen) is a German Protestant theologian and author .

Life

Karl-Adolf Bauer studied theology in Wuppertal , Tübingen and Bonn . From 1964 to 1969 he was a research assistant at Jürgen Moltmann and in 1969 with the work , the importance of physical nature of man in the Pauline theology in Bonn doctorate .

After completing his studies, Bauer began as a parish priest in Dudweiler . In 1972, the church district elected him Ottweiler for superintendents . From 1975 to 1987 he was head of the kreuznacher diakonie foundation . From 1988 to 2001 he worked as the rector of the pastoral college of the Evangelical Church in the Rhineland in Rengsdorf . He spends his retirement in Trier .
