Sompong Soleb ( Thai : สมปอง สอ เห ลบ ; born July 30, 1986 in Satun ) is a Thai football player on the position of a striker .

Career

society

Sompong began his career with the Thai third division team Satun FC. In 2004 he took part in a casting show that was looking for talented football players. The main prize was a nine-month stay at the youth academy of the English club Everton FC . Together with Rattapol Piyavutiskul and Teerathep Winothai he won this award. In April 2005, he took part in a trial training session at Chester City for three weeks . The club was also willing to give him a contract. Presumably there was no contract with the club for labor law reasons. Back in Thailand, he played for his home club until the end of 2006, before moving to the Thai Premier League for the Port Authority in 2007 . In 22 games he only scored four goals and in 2008 he moved to FC Chula United , for whom he has played since then. In his first season for Chula he scored nine goals and thus had a large share in staying up.

National team

For the Thai national team, he has played in the U-23 so far . With her he took part in the 2007 Southeast Asian Games and won the gold medal. In 2009 he was also part of the Southeast Asian Games squad.

With a selection from Thailand, he also took part in the Summer Universiade in 2007 and also won gold.
