Karl-Hans Lagershausen

Karl-Hans Lagershausen (born April 19, 1924 in Gittelde ; † August 31, 1988 in Oldenburg ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Lagershausen was in the Kriegsmarine in 1942 and served at the front with several speedboat associations during World War II. He was taken prisoner of war, from which he was released in 1945. He then began an agricultural training, which he finished in 1948, and then took over a farm in Schlüte in the Wesermarsch district . From 1949 he worked in water management. Among other things, he was a board member and association chairman. He joined the CDU, for which he became a local councilor in 1954 and two years later moved into the district council. From 1966 to 1981 he was district chairman. Lagershausen was also mayor of the municipality of Berne . In the sixth electoral term he was from June 6, 1967 to June 20, 1970 member of the Lower Saxony state parliament . He then switched to federal politics and was a member of the German Bundestag from 1972 to 1983 .
