Karl-Heinz Dörrie

Karl-Heinz Dörrie (born February 5, 1937 in Korbach ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and former member of the Hessian state parliament .

Dörrie completed an agricultural apprenticeship from 1955 to 1957 and then attended an engineering school until 1961. He then worked as an agricultural engineer in Twiste . He was a member of the SPD from 1972 and has been a member of the Waldeck-Frankenberg district council since 1977. From 1985 he was district council chairman. From 1961 to 1991 he was responsible for the administration and the department management for settlement and agricultural structure. For the first time Dörrie was elected in 1991 for the constituency Waldeck-Frankenberg I in the 13th electoral term of the state parliament. He was a member from April 5, 1991 until the end of the 15th electoral term on April 4, 2003. In the state parliament he was a member of the committee for economy and technology from 1991 to 1995. He was also a member of the Committees for Youth, Family and Health and for Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, to which he also belonged in the next electoral term from 1995 to 1999. Then from 1995 to 1999 he was also deputy chairman of the Committee on Agriculture, Forests and Nature Conservation.
