The constituency Waldeck-Frankenberg I (constituency 5) is a state electoral district in the Hessian district of Waldeck-Frankenberg . The constituency includes the towns and communities of Bad Arolsen , Diemelsee , Diemelstadt , Edertal , Korbach , Twist valley , Volkmarsen , Waldeck and Willingen (Upland) . By law of December 18, 2017 (GVBl. P. 478), the municipality of Lichtenfels , which had previously been part of the constituency, was added to the Waldeck-Frankenberg II constituency .
Geographically, the constituency covers the north of the Waldeck-Frankenberg district and largely corresponded to the former Waldeck district until the border change in 2017 .
