The constituency of Fulda I (constituency 14) is one of two state electoral districts in the Hessian district of Fulda . The constituency includes the towns and municipalities of Bad Salzschlirf , Burghaun , Fulda , Großenlüder , Hünfeld , Nüsttal and Rasdorf in the northwest of the district. By law of December 18, 2017 (GVBl. P. 478), the municipality of Eiterfeld , which had previously belonged to the constituency, was added to the constituency of Hersfeld .

The constituency is considered a CDU stronghold.

The Fulda I constituency has largely existed in its current form since January 1, 1983, before Bad Salzschlirf, Großenlüder and Fulda belonged to constituency 14 and Burghaun, Eiterfeld, Hünfeld, Nüsttal and Rasdorf belonged to constituency 15 .
