The constituency Limburg-Weilburg I (constituency 21) is one of two state electoral districts in the Hessian district of Limburg-Weilburg . The constituency includes the cities and communities of Brechen , Dornburg , Elbtal , Elz , Hadamar , Hünstelden , Limburg an der Lahn and Waldbrunn (Westerwald) in the western part of the district.
In the last state election, 65,254 of the approximately 88,000 residents of the constituency were entitled to vote. The constituency is considered a CDU stronghold.
The constituency has existed in its current form since January 1, 1983, before that, the towns and municipalities that make up today's constituency Limburg-Weilburg I, together with some of the villages that are now part of the constituency Limburg-Weilburg II, belonged to constituency 22 .
