The constituency Waldeck-Frankenberg II (constituency 6) is a state electoral district in the Hessian district of Waldeck-Frankenberg . The constituency includes the cities and communities Allendorf (Eder) , Bad Wildungen , Battenberg (Eder) , Bromskirchen , Burgwald , Frankenau , Frankenberg (Eder) , Gemünden (Wohra) , Haina (monastery) , Hatzfeld (Eder) , Lichtenfels , and Rosenthal Vöhl . The municipality of Lichtenfels was added to the constituency by law of December 18, 2017 (GVBl. P. 478); it was previously part of the Waldeck-Frankenberg I constituency
Geographically, the constituency covers the south of the Waldeck-Frankenberg district and, until the border change in 2017, corresponded to the former Frankenberg district .
The constituency was largely created in its current form on January 1, 1983, before that, the towns and communities forming the new constituency Waldeck-Frankenberg II, together with some localities in the Schwalm-Eder district, belonged to constituency 10.

In addition to Claudia Ravensburg (CDU) as the winner of the direct mandate, Jürgen Frömmrich (GREEN) from the constituency also moved into the state parliament via the state list of his party. The previous SPD MP Daniela Sommer, however, resigned from parliament because her place on the list was not enough to move back in due to the SPD's losses.

In addition to the directly elected constituency member Reinhard Kahl (SPD), who was able to win back the mandate from the CDU after five years, the FDP direct candidate Heinrich Heidel was also elected to the state parliament. The previous CDU constituency member Claudia Ravensburg and the previous member of the Green Party, Jürgen Frömmrich, left the state parliament because their places on the respective state lists of their parties did not move.
