Claudia Ravensburg (born April 11, 1962 in Bad Wildungen ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

From February 2003 to April 2008 she was a member of the Hessian Landtag after she won the constituency Waldeck-Frankenberg II (constituency 6) against Reinhard Kahl directly.

In the state elections in Hesse in 2008 on January 27, 2008 she was defeated by Kahl, so that she was no longer represented in the Hessian state parliament during the 17th legislative period. After the dissolution of the state parliament in November 2008, Ravensburg ran again in the state elections in Hesse in 2009 on January 18, 2009 and this time, after 2003, again won the direct mandate in constituency 6.

Claudia Ravensburg has been a member of the CDU parliamentary group in the Hessian state parliament again since February 2009. Since 2014 she has been chairwoman of the Committee on Social Affairs and Integration (SIA). In addition, she is a member of the Cultural Policy Committee (KPA) and the Committee on Environment, Climate Protection, Agriculture and Consumer Protection (ULA) as well as the Council of Elders of the Hessian State Parliament and the State Parliament Presidium.

In addition, Claudia Ravensburg has been a member of the district council of Waldeck-Frankenberg since 1997 , a member of the school policy committee and in-house facility management. In 2001 she became deputy parliamentary group leader of the CDU district parliamentary group and in 2002 its spokesperson for school policy. Since February 2004 she has been the deputy district chairwoman of the CDU Waldeck-Frankenberg and chairwoman of the 'Education' working group as well as deputy chairwoman of the district women's union.

Since May 2008 Ravensburg has been an assessor on the board of the CDU Hessen and thus also a co-opted member of the state board of the Women's Union of Hessen and a delegate for the federal party conference of the CDU in Germany. She is also a board member of the Office for Civic Women’s Work based in Wiesbaden.

Claudia Ravensburg holds a degree in business administration. She has been married to Gert Ravensburg since 1990. They both have two children together.
