The constituency Schwalm-Eder II (constituency 8) is a Hessian state parliament constituency . It includes the southern part of the Schwalm-Eder district with the cities and communities Bad Zwesten , Borken , Frielendorf , Gilserberg , Homberg (Efze) , Jesberg , Knüllwald , Neuental , Neukirchen , Oberaula , Ottrau , Schrecksbach , Schwalmstadt , Schwarzenborn and Willingshausen .

In the last state election, 75,907 of the approximately 96,000 inhabitants of the constituency were entitled to vote.

The constituency was created in its current form on January 1, 1983, before that Borken, Homberg, Jesberg, Knüllwald, Neuental and Zwesten belonged to constituency 8 and Frielendorf, Gilserberg, Neukirchen, Oberaula, Ottrau, Schrecksbach, Schwalmstadt, Schwarzenborn and Willingshausen belonged to constituency 10.
