Regine Müller (* 27. August 1959 in Cologne ) is a German politician of the SPD and since 2008 a member of the Hessian Parliament .

Life and work

Since her father was a pilot, she lived with her family in Cologne , Munich , Hamburg and also in America . Until the beginning of 2008, she worked as the director of the Frielendorf -Ober limitebach kindergarten , before she was elected as a direct candidate in the Hessian state parliament in the state elections on January 27, 2008 in the Schwalm-Eder II constituency . In the state elections on January 18, 2009 she was able to defend her direct mandate with 38.8% of the first votes .

Political commitment

In 1989 she joined the SPD and soon became chairwoman of the Ziegenhain local association . In 1997 she became a city councilor in the parliament of Schwalmstadt . Since 2001 she has been a member of the district committee of the Schwalm-Eder district and is chairwoman of the SPD sub-district Ziegenhain. Since April 24, 2010 she has been deputy chairwoman of the SPD sub-district Schwalm-Eder.

Work in the Hessian state parliament

As a member of parliament, she is active in two committees: She is a member of the Petitions Committee (PTA) and the Social Affairs Committee (formerly Work, Family and Health). She worked in the Committee for Environment, Energy, Agriculture and Consumer Protection (ULA) until 2008. This also gives rise to the priorities of her political work: senior citizens, family, education, energy, environmental and health policy.
