The constituency of Odenwald (constituency 53) is a state electoral district in Hesse . The constituency includes the entire Odenwald district with the cities of Bad König , Breuberg , Erbach and Michelstadt , Oberzent and the communities of Brensbach , Brombachtal , Fränkisch-Crumbach , Höchst im Odenwald , Lützelbach , Mossautal , and Reichelsheim .
In the last state election, 70,409 of the roughly 99,000 residents were entitled to vote.

The constituency until 1966
Between 1950 and 1966 there was constituency 45 according to the Hessian state election law of September 18, 1950 , which, however, was not completely congruent with today's constituency. It consisted of what was then the district of Erbach .
In the state elections in Hesse in 1946 , today's constituency was part of constituency III . This constituency was made up of the Bergstrasse district and the Erbach district.
