Rüdiger Holschuh (born July 27, 1967 in Eberbach ) is a German administrative specialist and was a member of the Hessian State Parliament ( SPD ) until January 2019 .

Life

Rüdiger Holschuh grew up in Oberzent - Gammelsbach and attended school there. After the Abitur examination at the vocational high school in Michelstadt and the military service, he joined the city administration of Beerfelden in 1989 and worked there as an administrative specialist until his election to the Hessian state parliament in 2003.

politics

At the age of 18, Holschuh joined the Young Socialists, later the SPD. He has been a member of the district council of the Odenwaldkreis since 1996 and has been its chairman since 2003. In the state elections in Hesse in 2013 , he ran in the constituency of Odenwald . Here he was defeated by the CDU candidate Judith Lannert , but was able to move into the state parliament via an SPD list. In 2018, after considerable losses to his party, he was no longer able to move into the Hessian state parliament via the state list.
