The constituency Darmstadt-Dieburg I (constituency 51) is a state electoral district in the Hessian district of Darmstadt-Dieburg . The constituency includes the towns and communities of Alsbach-Hähnlein , Bickenbach , Erzhausen , Griesheim , Messel , Pfungstadt , Seeheim-Jugenheim and Weiterstadt in the west of the district .
A total of around 116,000 people live in the constituency. The population density is 671 inhabitants per km². Economically, the constituency belongs to the Rhine-Main area , although the population has a lower unemployment rate (November 2007: Darmstadt-Dieburg district: 5.4%, Hesse: 6.8%) and a higher disposable income (2005: Darmstadt- Dieburg: € 19,342 , Hesse: € 18,750).
