The constituency of Groß-Gerau I (constituency 47) is a Landtag constituency in Hesse . The constituency includes the northern part of the Groß-Gerau district with the cities and communities of Bischofsheim , Ginsheim-Gustavsburg , Kelsterbach , Nauheim , Raunheim and Rüsselsheim am Main .
In the last state election, 82,267 of the approximately 126,000 residents were entitled to vote. Before the state elections in 2008, the towns of Kelsterbach and Raunheim were added to the constituency. For this, the municipality of Trebur was given to the constituency of Groß-Gerau II .
The constituency Groß-Gerau I was created on January 1, 1983, in territorial terms it replaced constituency 48, which existed until the end of 1982 .

In addition to the directly elected constituency member Sabine Bächle-Scholz (CDU), the AfD candidate Alexandra Walter was elected via her party's state list. However, she was not accepted into the AfD parliamentary group and therefore belongs to the state parliament as a non-attached candidate.
