Christiane Böhm (* 1957 in Burglengenfeld ) is a German politician ( Die Linke ). In the state elections in Hesse in 2018 , she received a mandate in the Hessian state parliament .

Life

Böhm studied social pedagogy with a diploma (FH). Among other things, she worked as an independent legal advisor. Since 2014 she has been a consultant with responsibility for social and health policy at the Hessian parliamentary group of the party Die Linke.

Böhm was initially involved in the SDAJ and the DKP . She joined the PDS in 1996 . Böhm has had a mandate in the district council of the Groß-Gerau district since 2011 , and has been parliamentary group leader since 2016. In the state elections in Hesse in 2013 , she ran for the LINKE in the constituency of Groß-Gerau I , where she received 6.0% of the first votes. Five years later she was elected to the state parliament in the state elections in Hesse in 2018 via the state list of the LINKE. She had also stood as a candidate in the Groß-Gerau II constituency and received 5.9% of the first votes there.
