Jo Dreiseitel
Josef "Jo" Dreiseitel (born March 11, 1952 in Gernsheim ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ).
In Rüsselsheim , Dreiseitel was head of social affairs and from 2006 to 2012 mayor . In 2011, he was defeated by his opponent Patrick Burghardt (CDU) in the second round of the Rüsselsheim mayor elections . In the state elections in Hesse in 2013 , he ran for the Greens in the constituency of Groß-Gerau I , where he received 12.3% of the first votes. On January 18, 2014, Dreiseitel was appointed State Secretary for Integration and Anti-Discrimination in the CDU-led Ministry of Social Affairs and Integration in the Bouffier II cabinet at the suggestion of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen Hessen by the Prime Minister Volker Bouffier . During the exercise of his office, which he resigned on September 30, 2017 for health reasons, the Department of Anti-Discrimination was created in the Ministry. Kai Klose was appointed as Dreiseitel's successor .
