The constituency Main-Kinzig III (constituency 42) is one of three state electoral districts in the Hessian Main-Kinzig district . It includes the towns and communities of Bad Orb , Bad Soden-Salmünster , Biebergemünd , Birstein , Brachttal , Flörsbachtal , Gelnhausen , Jossgrund , Linsengericht , Schlüchtern , Sinntal , Steinau an der Straße , Wächtersbach and the Spessart manor in the east of the district.
100,330 of the approximately 132,000 residents of the constituency were entitled to vote in the last state election. The constituency is considered a CDU stronghold.
