Stefan Jagsch
Stefan Jagsch (born August 8, 1986 in Hanau ) is a German politician of the NPD . He was state chairman of the NPD Hessen and from September 2019 to October 2019 mayor of the Waldsiedlung district of the Altenstadt community in Hessen .
Life
Jagsch lives in Altenstadt, is an automobile salesman and works as an employee.
In 2014 Jagsch, who last worked at the reception desk in the Höchst job center, was fired by the city of Frankfurt . There is no place in the Frankfurt city administration for high-ranking members of a right-wing extremist party, the city said. The dismissals (one ordinary and one extraordinary ) were declared ineffective by the labor court, because Jagsch, as a simple office worker, does an activity "which does not require any special, but 'only' a simple measure of constitutional loyalty." This was already given if the freedom - the basic democratic order is not actively combated. There is therefore no reason for termination.
He held various offices in the NPD. He was regional organization leader of the Hessian NPD, deputy state chairman of the Hessian Young National Democrats , deputy district chairman of the NPD district association Wetterau and, before he was elected chairman, deputy state chairman of the NPD Hessen. He is the local association chairman Altenstadt / Limeshain . Jagsch ran for the NPD in the federal elections in 2009 , 2013 and 2017 and in the state elections in Hesse in 2008 , when he received 0.9% of the first votes in the constituency of Main-Kinzig III , and in 2009 , when he received 1.3% of the first votes in the constituency of Wetterau I. reached.
In the event of an election success, Jagsch ruled out a coalition with the established parties in 2013, "because their behavior promotes popular death and sometimes even publicly propagates it". On March 4, 2018, Jagsch ran for mayor of the Altenstadt community. He received 249 votes, which corresponds to 6.0% of the votes cast.
In the reports for the protection of the constitution published by the State Office for the Protection of the Constitution of Hesse for 2013 and 2014, Jagsch is mentioned as a leading NPD member.
Media attention after a traffic accident
Jagsch came off the road with his car at around 9 a.m. on federal highway 521 between Altenstadt and neighboring Büdingen in the Wetterau district in mid-March 2016 and crashed into a tree. Jagsch had to be taken to a hospital seriously injured. This incident received international media attention after the Frankfurter Rundschau (FR) initially reported that the accident had been noticed by people who came from Syria . This would have given the accident victim Jagsch first aid . Other sources questioned the representation of the FR. The identities of the helpers were not revealed.
Mayor
Jagsch was elected unanimously (with two absences) as head of the Waldsiedlung district of Altenstadt on September 5, 2019 with the votes of the CDU, SPD and FDP in the local council. National representatives of the CDU, SPD and FDP sharply criticized the election and called for the decision to be corrected. The local SPD justified the choice of the NPD politician with the fact that there was a lack of an alternative. Jagsch had already been elected as one of the deputy chairmen of the Altenstadt municipal council in 2016, also unanimously with two abstentions.
On September 9, 2019, a motion to deselection of the mayor was submitted to the local council, which had been signed by all members except Jagsch. Accompanied by the announcement that legal action might be taken against a voting out, Jagsch was voted out on October 22, 2019 with the votes of all other members. Tatiana Cyrulnikow (CDU) was elected as her successor.
