The Spessart manor district is a rugged, delimited forest district and an area free of municipalities in the Main-Kinzig district in Hesse , Federal Republic of Germany . Geographical location

The forest estate district Spessart with the Hessian district number 1032 is located in southeast Hesse in the east of the Main-Kinzig district in the Hessian Spessart nature park on the border with Bavaria . In the forest above the village of Mernes is the Zentgrafenstein, a memorial stone from 1710. The stone on the Sälzer Weg reminds of a Johann Georg Centgraf from Suhl.
