Jürgen Frömmrich (born December 26, 1959 in Korbach ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ) and a member of the Hessian state parliament . From 1991 to 1993 he was state board spokesman for Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen Hessen .

He was a member of the Hessian state parliament from November 15, 1994 to April 4, 1995, from April 5, 2003 to April 4, 2008 and has been again since January 18, 2009. Frömmrich is the political spokesperson for domestic affairs for his parliamentary group. and legal policy and member of the Interior Committee, Legal and Integration Committee and the Main Committee.

In addition to his state parliament mandate, Jürgen Frömmrich is also active in local politics. He is a member of the district council of the Waldeck-Frankenberg district and chairman of the parliamentary group of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen.

In the state elections in Hesse in 2013 , he ran in the Waldeck-Frankenberg II constituency . Here he lost to Claudia Ravensburg . However, he succeeded in entering the state parliament via a list of the party. He is the parliamentary director of his group.
