Sigrid Erfurth (born October 4, 1956 in Seulingen ) is a German politician with Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen and a former member of the Hessian state parliament . She has been chairwoman of the Hessian Greens since May 11, 2019 .

She was from December 8, 1998 (as a replacement for Reinhold Weist ) to April 4, 1999 and from September 1, 2005 to January 27, 2008 a member of the Hessian state parliament. She was the political spokesperson for financial policy, data protection and local affairs and a member of the Interior Committee and the Budget Committee. In the state elections in Hesse in 2009 , she successfully ran for 11th place on the Greens list. In the state elections in Hesse in 2013 , she ran in the constituency of Eschwege-Witzenhausen . Here she was defeated by Lothar Quanz . However, she succeeded in re-entering the state parliament via a list position for the party. She did not run for the state election in Hesse in 2018 and thus left parliament. Since May 11, 2019, she has been chairman of the Hessian Greens together with Philip Krämer .
