Anne Kura

Anne Kura (born August 3, 1984 ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ). She has been the state chairman of the Greens in Lower Saxony since March 2018 .

Life

Kura grew up in Bünde . She studied European studies in Osnabrück and Maastricht. From 2009 to 2016 she was the board spokeswoman of the green district association Osnabrück-Stadt. Since 2013 she has worked for the green parliamentary group in the Lower Saxony state parliament as a consultant for European policy as well as for climate, energy and environmental policy. She has been a member of the Osnabrück City Council since 2016.

In November 2017 Meta Janssen-Kucz resigned from her position as state chair due to her election as vice-president of the Lower Saxony state parliament. Kura was elected her successor.
