Steffen Regis

Steffen Regis (born January 12, 1989 in Horb am Neckar ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ). Since 2017 he has been state chairman of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen Schleswig-Holstein .

Life

Steffen Regis grew up in Karlsruhe, in Rhineland-Palatinate and from 1996 in Schleswig-Holstein.

He studied law with a focus on international and European law (not completed) as well as geography with a Bachelor of Science degree (B.Sc.). From 2012 to 2016 he was a member of the General Student Committee of the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel.

After a short work at a service company for geographic information systems and geodata management, in 2017 he became a personal advisor to Robert Habeck in the Ministry for Energy Transition, Agriculture, Environment, Nature and Digitization of the State of Schleswig-Holstein .

In 2010, Steffen Regis became a member of the Greens in the Kiel district association. From 2014 to 2017 he was the spokesman for the state working group on education policy.

In October 2017 he replaced Arfst Wagner as the male part of the quota double leadership in the state chairmanship of the Greens Schleswig-Holstein after an "election thriller" at the state delegate assembly . Ann-Kathrin Tranziska became its female co -chair . Both support the Jamaica coalition in Schleswig-Holstein.
