Florian Pfeffer

Florian Pfeffer (* 1970 in Rheinfelden (Baden) ) is a German graphic designer and former university professor . He works in Amsterdam and Bremen . In November 2019, alongside Alexandra Werwath, he was elected state board spokesman for Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen Bremen , succeeding Hermann Kuhn .

Life

Pfeffer studied communication design in Würzburg , Bremen and Milan and, after teaching in Lebanon and the USA, was professor for communication design at the State University of Design in Karlsruhe from 2006 to 2012 .

In 1998 Pfeffer founded the design office “jung und pfeffer: visual communication” together with Eckhard Jung in Bremen, which was renamed “one / one studio” in 2007. Florian Pfeffer and his wife Friederike were also directors of the “: output” foundation from 1998 to 2015, which annually announces the largest design competition for student work and presents the winners in the yearbook of the same name.
