Norman Volger (* 1978 in Leipzig ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ). Since 2018 he has been state board spokesman for the Saxon state association of his party.

Volger completed a degree in political science, sociology, and communication and media studies. From 2008 to 2018 he was managing director of the association Die Alternative Kommunalpolitik Sachsen . In addition, Volger became a member of the supervisory board of Leipziger Wasserwerke.

In 2002 he declared his accession to Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen and was active for the party as managing director of the Leipzig district association until he was first elected to the city council of Leipzig in 2009. In 2013, the Green Party elected Volger as its chairman.

On March 24, 2018, Volger prevailed during the state assembly of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen Sachsen in the election of the state board spokesman with 60.71 percent as the opposing candidate of his predecessor Jürgen Kasek in the first ballot.
