Claus Kruger

Claus Krüger (* 1949 ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ). From 2005 to 2007 he was state board spokesman for the Saxon state association of the Greens .

Krüger was born near Hamburg and from 1956 attended elementary school in Reutlingen and later high school. In 1977 he worked as an architect in Stuttgart . He then completed a distance learning course in the subjects of building biology and ecology . In 1996 he moved with his family to Sebnitz and founded an architecture office there. In 1999, Krüger was elected chairman of the Saxon Switzerland district association of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen . At a regional assembly in Pirna , the delegates from Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen Sachsen elected Krüger to be the new board spokesman for the regional association alongside Eva Jähnigen .

In 2014 Krüger was re-elected to the district council in the Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains district. He returned to Baden-Württemberg in 2015 and therefore gave up his mandate as a district councilor in Saxony.
