Christin Bahnert (* 1981 in Dresden ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ) and dramaturge . From 2014 to 2016 she was the state board spokeswoman for the Saxon state association of her party.

Training and career as a dramaturge

Bahnert first attended the Dresden-Plauen grammar school and completed her schooling with the Abitur at the St. Benno grammar school . She then studied from 1999 at the Free University of Berlin in the subjects of New German Literature and Theater Studies . She also studied dramaturgy at the University of Music and Theater in Leipzig .

In 2007 Bahnert became a dramaturge at the Theaterhaus Jena . She later took on the role of artistic director and lead dramaturge there.

politics

Bahnert became a member of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen in 2010 . Then she was initially active for the party as an assessor in the Potsdam district committee. In addition, she was elected deputy member of the local advisory council in Dresden-Plauen .

On December 6, 2014, the delegates of the state party congress of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen Sachsen elected Bahnert as the new state board spokeswoman with a majority of 63.5 percent in the first ballot. In 2016 she did not stand for re-election.
