Ann-Kathrin Tranziska

Ann-Kathrin Tranziska , b. Kröning (born September 12, 1974 in Hamburg ) is a German biologist and politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ). Since 2017 she has been the state chairwoman of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen Schleswig-Holstein .

Life

Ann-Kathrin Tranziska grew up in Hamburg-Altona and studied biology at the Universities of Göttingen and Würzburg . In 2004 she became Dr. rer. nat. PhD. She then worked in basic biological research at the Center for Molecular Neurobiology Hamburg (ZMNH) at the University of Hamburg .

In 2009 she started her own business with Experimentini . It offers science experimentation courses for children and parents.

politics

From 2015 to 2017 Ann-Kathrin Tranziska was the district manager of the Greens in the Pinneberg district . In the city of Pinneberg , she is active as a civic member of the Social Affairs, Children and Seniors Committee.

In the state election in Schleswig-Holstein in 2017 , she ran as a candidate for the Greens in the Pinneberg constituency (24). Here she achieved 10.3% of the first votes.

In October 2017 she was elected as the successor to Ruth Kastner as the state chairwoman of the Greens Schleswig-Holstein. Its male co-chair is Steffen Regis .
