Tina Schöpfer (born December 13, 1975 in Ottweiler ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ). Schöpfer has been state chairwoman of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen Saar since 2016 .

Life and work

After studying political science and Italian and French philology at Saarland University with stays abroad in Perugia and Bergamo , she passed her master's examination in 2002 with the grade “very good”. Her thesis entitled “Political Show in Italy. The self-promoters Umberto Bossi and Silvio Berlusconi ”was published in 2002 by ibidem-Verlag. She then worked as a research assistant at the chair for political science at Saarland University until the faculty was closed. In 2003 she worked as a parliamentary group assistant with a focus on the press and public for the Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen parliamentary group in the Saarbrücken city council. In 2004 she became managing director and press spokeswoman for the parliamentary group. From 2009 to 2011 Schöpfer worked as a marketing officer for the cross-border project “University of the Greater Region” at Saarland University. From 2011 to 2012 she worked as a policy advisor in the Saarland Ministry of Education. Tina Schöpfer has been employed by the Saarland Ministry of Finance and Europe since 2012. She is the deputy head of unit for cross-border cooperation.

Schöpfer is married and lives with her husband in Neunkirchen-Kohlhof .

Party and politics

Schöpfer has been a member of the Greens since 2003 . She has been a member of the state board since 2004. From 2006 to 2016 she was deputy state chairwoman. From 2010 to 2012 she was district chairwoman in Saarbrücken. In 2014, Schöpfer was the only green city councilor in Sulzbach city ​​council . In the Saarbrücken regional association assembly, she was deputy parliamentary group leader of the Greens. After moving to Neunkirchen-Kohlhof, she became the district chairman of the Greens in the Neunkirchen district in 2015 and ran as district administrator. In the district election she received 10.2% of the votes in the first ballot. Since July 2019, Schöpfer has been the parliamentary group leader of the Greens in the city council of the district town of Neunkirchen.

In the state elections in Saarland in 2017 , Schöpfer ran as the top candidate of the Greens in the Neunkirchen constituency ( Saarpfalz district , Neunkirchen district, St. Wendel district ) and in third place on the state list. In the state elections in 2017, the Greens missed their entry into the Saarland state parliament . Tina Schöpfer has been state chairwoman of the Green Saar since 2016 .

Tina Schöpfer is a member of the Neunkirchen citizens' initiative Pro Betzenhölle - For nature and life in the town centers and in the European Union of the Saar .
