Hans-Otto Weber
Hans-Otto Weber (born June 14, 1926 in Korbach ; † August 31, 2014 in Schenklengsfeld ) was a Hessian politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Hessian state parliament .
education and profession
Hans-Otto Weber worked in the Hessian school service from 1946 to 1957 after graduating from high school and doing military service, during which he was seriously injured and thereby became a war invalid .
politics
On April 20, 1944, Weber had become a member of the NSDAP .
Hans-Otto Weber was a member of the SPD and from 1960 to 1975 a member of the district council in the Waldeck district . From December 1, 1958 to November 30, 1982 he was a member of the Hessian state parliament, and from 1966 to 1974 he was vice-president of the state parliament.
As a representative of the state government for the affairs of the border area he was active 1974 to 1978, and 1959 and 1969 Weber was a member of the federal assembly .
Other offices
Hans-Otto Weber was active in the Volksbund Deutsche Kriegsgräberfürsorge and was president there. He then became honorary president of the Volksbund. He was also a member of the board of trustees of the Christian Publicists' Working Group .
