Armin Schwarz (born June 3, 1968 in Arolsen ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and has been the school policy spokesman for the CDU parliamentary group in the Hessian state parliament since February 2015 .

After graduating from high school, Schwarz studied English, politics and education in Marburg and Wolverhampton (UK) and was then senior teacher.

Since 2011 he has been the district chairman of the CDU Waldeck-Frankenberg and chairman of the CDU city association Bad Arolsen . Until April 2011 he was a member of the city council of Bad Arolsen, after which he became a member of the city council, but resigned this mandate in October. In May 2010 he became a member of the Waldeck-Frankenberg district council , where he is deputy chairman of the CDU parliamentary group.

In the state elections in Hesse in 2009 , Schwarz was the deputy of the candidate Wilhelm Dietzel , who was directly elected to the state parliament in the Waldeck-Frankenberg I constituency. After the latter withdrew from politics, Schwarz officially moved to the state parliament on November 1, 2011.

In the state elections in Hesse in 2013 , Armin Schwarz won his direct mandate in the Waldeck-Frankenberg I constituency with 44% and moved back into the Hessian state parliament.

In the state elections in 2018 , he was also able to defend his mandate and thus remains a member of the state parliament.

He is the deputy chairman of the parliamentary group.
