Franz-Peter Jakob

Franz-Peter Jakob (born April 16, 1949 in Leer (East Friesland) ) is a Hessian politician ( Die Grünen ) and former member of the Hessian state parliament .

After attending secondary school and vocational school, Franz-Peter Jakob learned to be a car mechanic and continued his education at the two-year evening school for photography. From 1967 to 1978 he was a test driver for the entry inspection at the VW plant in Emden.

From 1979 Franz-Peter Jakob was active in various citizens' initiatives against nuclear facilities. On January 1st, 1980 he was co-founder of the anti-nuclear office in Diemelstadt and coordinated the resistance against the planned reprocessing plants in Northern Hesse and co-organizer of the nationwide nuclear waste conferences. He was a member of the Federal Association of Citizens' Initiatives Environmental Protection (BBU) and the natural scientist group (NG-350) against nuclear facilities.

On 15 February 1984 he moved due to the rotation principle for Reinhard Brückner for the Hesse state parliament, where he remained until the early end of the legislature on February 17 1987th
