Karl-Heinz Gursky

Karl-Heinz Gursky (* 1943 in Duisburg ) is a German lawyer and former professor at the University of Osnabrück .

Life

From 1962 Gursky studied law at the universities of Cologne , Kiel and Bonn . In 1966 he finished his studies with the first state examination in law. In 1970 he passed his second state examination. He had already completed his doctorate with Uwe Diederichsen in Cologne the year before . Subsequently he worked at Diederichsen, who had meanwhile moved to the University of Göttingen , as a research assistant. Gursky also qualified as a professor under Diederichsen in 1977.

In the 1979 summer semester, Gursky took up his first full professorship at the University of Bonn. From the 1980/81 winter semester until his retirement he held the chair for civil law, commercial and business law at the University of Osnabrück .

Gursky is also known for his commentary on a large part of property law in Staudinger's large commentary .
