Karl-Heinz Kluge
Karl-Heinz Kluge (born February 12, 1929 in Mülsen St. Jacob ; † June 3, 2005 ) was a German football player and coach in the GDR .
He completed 39 league games (no goal) for Motor Zwickau from 1954 to 1957 . Kluge was then from 1958 to 1960 coach at the Zwickau. From 1960 to 1969 he trained Martin Hoop Mülsen . As the successor to Horst Scherbaum , he took over the post of head coach at Sachsenring Zwickau in 1971 .
Kluge celebrated his greatest successes in the 1970s with Sachsenring Zwickau in the 1975/76 European Cup Winners' Cup , when Panathinaikos Athens , Fiorentina and Celtic Glasgow were defeated. Only in the semi-finals did the team fail at the eventual cup winners RSC Anderlecht .
