Karl-Heinz Stengel (born March 5, 1952 in Pforzheim ) is a ministerial advisor at the State Audit Office of Baden-Wuerttemberg and for many years was the President of the YMCA Association in Germany. V.

Life

In 1969, after attending the higher commercial school, Stengel completed an apprenticeship as a government inspector at the Baden-Württemberg General Finance Administration as a qualified financial economist (FH) . From 1974 to 1977 he worked in asset management at the regional finance directorate before moving to the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Finance , where he was responsible for the administration of land, buildings, castles and the accommodation of the state authorities in the Northern Black Forest region. From September 1983 to September 30, 2017, Stengel was employed at the Baden-Württemberg Court of Auditors, where in 1995 he took over the department head for organizational, personnel requirements and profitability studies in the Baden-Württemberg state administration. Most recently, he was Deputy Head of Department at the State Audit Office.

Stengel has been involved in the YMCA on a voluntary basis since 1967. In his home YMCA in Wilferdingen he was active as a youth group and youth group leader, where he was chairman for 16 years. From 2003 to 2019 he was President of the largest Christian ecumenical youth association in Germany in the YMCA Association . Since 1993 he has been chairman of Diakoniestation Remchingen e. V.

Private

Karl-Heinz Stengel is married to his wife Wilma. The couple live in Wilferdingen and have four children.
