Karl-Heinz Zöllner (born November 30, 1953 ) is a former Austrian football goalkeeper and now coach .

Career

As a player

Zöllner began his career at Red Star Knittelfeld . He then played for DSV Alpine until 1981 . For the 1981/82 season he moved to the first division FK Austria Vienna . He made his first division debut in October 1981, when he was in the starting line-up against SV Austria Salzburg on matchday 12 of that season . In total, he played two games for Austria in the league.

For the 1982/83 season he joined the first division promoted FC Union Wels . For the Welser he completed 15 games in the 1st division in that season and remained in three games without conceding a goal. With the club he reached relegation on the last day of the season. After this, Zöllner left the Upper Austrians and joined the Grazer AK .

As a trainer

After the end of his career, Zöllner became a coach. He coached FC Zeltweg three times , with whom he rose to the regional league in 1997 , but was relegated again after only one season. In addition, he later trained, among other things, the fourth-rate SV Rottenmann .
