Karl-Mantel-Strasse 52
The building at Karl-Mantel-Strasse 52 in Hürben , a district of the city of Krumbach in the Swabian district of Günzburg in Bavaria , was built in the mid-19th century. The former residential and commercial building is a protected architectural monument .
The gable roof building with a dwelling and four to five window axes was built for a Jewish merchant family. The double-winged entrance door in the classicistic plait style and the platform staircase with baluster are worth mentioning from the construction period . The first roof level with plastered wooden supports served as a cult room.
In a shed on the property, a double-winged entrance door with a Jewish blessing in Hebrew carved into the lintel was discovered. The translation is: "Blessed are you when you come in, blessed are you when you go out, 1804".
The rich plaster structure of the house was knocked off in 1970.
