Karl-Peter Wanczek

Karl-Peter Wanczek (* 1940 ) is a German chemist ( inorganic chemistry , analytical chemistry ). He is a professor at the University of Bremen .

From 1960 Wanczek studied chemistry at Saarbrücken University with a diploma in 1966 and a doctorate in 1970 with Fritz Seel . Then he was with Hermann Hartmann in Frankfurt. In 1976 he became professor for inorganic chemistry in Bremen.

He dealt with ion cyclotron resonance spectroscopy (a method of mass spectroscopy ) for the determination of molecule-ion and ion-ion interactions, ion traps, reactions with clusters and environmental analysis, among other things.
