Lenda Belly Vumbi Bundu ( Lenda Vumbi for short ; born July 13, 1995 in Aubervilliers ) is a French football player .
Club career
Vumbi Bundu, who is based in the left-back position, grew up in the area of Tours and was seven years old when he started playing football in September 2002 at an amateur club in Chamblay-lès-Tours . He remained loyal to this club until, at the age of twelve, at the turn of the year 2008/09 he was accepted into the youth department of the professional club FC Tours . He went through several age groups until he was accepted into the club's junior performance center as a B-youth . In the following time he proved to be particularly talented, so that he was allowed to participate in the training of professionals a few times.
On the 1st matchday of the 2013/14 season, which was played on August 2, 2013, he sat on the bench in a second division match against Clermont Foot , made his professional debut in the 68th minute and had a 1: 2 Accept defeat. From then on, the 18-year-old at the time of his debut was called up for a few more games in the team, but without making any further appearances over the course of the season. He received match practice on the other hand in the jersey of the fifth-class reserve team. In the following year he was unable to establish himself with the professionals, which is why he left Tours in summer 2015. He found a new employer in the Portuguese second division club Académico de Viseu FC . Just a year later he joined second division Leixões SC . He played here until 2018 and then moved to the Belgian third division club Royal Excelsior Virton . After a disappointing year with only four league games, he moved on to Yverdon-Sport FC in Switzerland in July 2019 .
National team
At the age of 17, the young player was appointed to the squad of the French U-18 national team for the first time and made his debut for them on May 15, 2013 in a 2-0 win in a friendly against Switzerland. In the following summer break, he moved up to the U-19 team. For this he was on the field in two test encounters in September 2013, but was then no longer considered.
